Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 3, 2026

Temetrix Inc. (“Temetrix”, “we”, “us”) is a cloud consulting firm based in Ottawa, Ontario. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, temetrix.com (also available at temetrix.ca), why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for residents of Quebec, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector.

Who is responsible for your information

Temetrix Inc. is responsible for personal information under its control. Our Privacy Officer oversees our compliance with this policy and handles privacy questions, requests and complaints:

Privacy Officer, Temetrix Inc.
Ottawa, Ontario K1Z 5P5, Canada
Email: hello@temetrix.com (subject line: “Privacy”)

What we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject, and, if you choose to provide them, your phone number, the department you are contacting and your message. We also collect the information you include when you email us directly.

Information collected automatically. Our website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Like any website, the services that deliver it receive standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. This is used only to deliver the website and keep it secure.

Information about clients. Personal information we handle while providing consulting services to our clients is governed by our written agreements with those clients, not by this website policy.

Why we collect it

We use the information you send us to:

  • respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about it;
  • prepare information or proposals you have asked for; and
  • keep a record of our business correspondence.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing messages unless you agree to receive them, as required by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Consent

By submitting the contact form or emailing us, you consent to our collecting and using your information for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our Privacy Officer, although we may then be unable to respond to your inquiry.

Service providers and storage outside Canada

We use trusted service providers to operate our website and email. They process personal information only on our behalf:

  • Amazon Web Services hosts our website and delivers contact form messages to us. Form submissions are processed in the United States.
  • Microsoft 365 provides our email service.
  • Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on our website. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser information.

As a result, your information may be stored and processed outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to courts, law enforcement and national security authorities under the laws of that country. We choose providers that protect information to a standard comparable to ours.

We may also disclose personal information when required by law, or as part of the sale or reorganization of our business, in which case it would remain protected by this policy.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form submissions and related correspondence for two years after our last communication with you, and then securely delete them. If you become a client, we keep information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

How we protect it

Our website is served only over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and access to personal information is limited to people at Temetrix who need it to respond to you. We use reputable service providers with strong security practices. If a privacy breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the appropriate regulator as required by law.

Your rights

You may ask to:

  • see the personal information we hold about you and learn how it has been used and shared;
  • correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • have your information deleted, where we are not required to keep it; and
  • withdraw your consent.

Quebec residents also have the right to receive their information in a structured, commonly used technological format, and to ask us to stop disseminating it.

To make a request, email our Privacy Officer. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Children

Our website is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
